I found this wooden board in the street, which seems to be part of an Ikea furniture. Its 22″x22″, which seemed to me to be a perfect size for a painting. I enjoy finding discarded pieces of furniture in the street and reusing them in my projects. It turns out that this board has some kind of finish, like a varnish. Before starting painting I attempted to remove the varnish by using sand paper. I clearly was not successful, because the acrylic paints that I used are very easily pealing off the surface. I still had fun and learned a few things, and I like the concept so I might try it again sometime, maybe on canvas.
